When you sign that mortgage with your bank you then enable the bank to make the loan because you give them your house as an asset so it is a favor to the bank and not to you actually in reality. So first I suggest we all get educated. I just received an urgent message in letter from Citibank offering to cut my Home Depot credit card bill in half to settle it and offering terms to pay the half. Well, that is a start at least. Have them to conform it in writing that there will be no more penalties or interest. I intend to ask them to cut it in half again to compensate for the 30% interest & penalties. They do leave the door open in case you disagree for a suggested settlement from debtor. The letter states if you settle for $600 less than what you owe you are required to report. That means all the penalties and exorbitant interest they charge you translates to income. This government is controlled by the foolish rich with absolutely no compassion for poor. If it is never settled then there may never be any reporting requirement and if you settle, My guess is they will find a way to multiplier your debt still again after you have settled. These mega banks are unscrupulous and my guess is that it is better to let the debt die. When you send them a paid in full they keep on billing ignoring your proof of payment. When you deal with the banks you are dealing with the government as one and the same. The president makes an unscheduled stop in Baltimore at the Republican get together to answer questions and they agreed for it to be broadcast live on television which they later regretted. If I were president I would advocate free clinics for everybody run by volunteers and I would kick the private Federal Reserve out by nationalizing them & take back the money. Where is America headed by foreclosing on people's homes other than into utter chaos. The economy over the last decade has been moving to 90 percent by credit cards which is artificial economy we cannot afford because there follows a 30% per annum interest rate. This is tantamount to riding people out on a one-way bridge to disaster delaying collapse. The economy would have collapsed years ago without the credit cards boasting business. It is therefore not the fault of the consumer that finds himself $50,000 in debt to make his house payment which he/she has had to put on the credit card or gasoline to get to work. It is a system that has demanded and forced bank credit to meet the ever rising inflation. Hopeless Haiti had 2 more setbacks today, the governor of Florida stopped allowing the mercy flights of seriously ill children to Land in Florida for treatment, he is a Republican. Actually, he only complained about not having the money to treat them but mercy flights stopped as a result of his complaint saying Florida is over burdened with those Haitians. I see this as a form of racism & separatism to think he's going to keep his sanctuary pure. Medical supplies was assessed duty after arriving in Haiti so the government of Haiti is so greedy with no compassion for millions in need of basic medical supplies to help them. 10 charity workers from Idaho were arrested by Haitian police at the Dominican Republic border trying to move 30 orphaned children to a safe orphanage in Dominican Republic. Haiti is continuing corruption among Haitian officials not appreciating help from others. I saw where one registered nurse quit her job in Minnesota as a TV anchor to volunteer to serve the people of Haiti but cannot get a one-way flight into Haiti because all flights are now canceled for one week into Haiti. what a crying shame and disgrace for America.
